Mirakl acquires Adspert to strengthen retail media position

Marketplace solution provider Mirakl has announced the acquisition of Adspert, a data-driven advertising optimization tool. Thanks to the acquisition, Mirakl can enhance its retail media solution and add AI-driven advertising optimization software to its platform.

Mirakl is a French marketplace solution provider, which offers a SaaS solution for customers to create and manage online marketplaces. It was founded in 2012 and has raised almost 1 billion euros in funding since then. In 2023, its recurring revenue was almost 150 million euros.

Enhancing retail media on demand side

The platform has an extensive product suite, with artificial intelligence, ads and payout features. Last year, it launched Mirakl Ads which helps marketplace owners monetize traffic across marketplaces and first-party products. According to Mirakl, already more than 20 online retailers are using the solution as their retail media platform.

Now, Mirakl announces the acquisition of Adspert. Advertisers can now enhance their ad performance and allocate budgets more efficiently thanks to Mirakl’s expertise in ecommerce. The renewed platform will also offer forecasting and scenario stimulation tools, which helps in optimizing strategies.
